Lab Assistant

Job Summary We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to support construction material testing and laboratory operations. The candidate will assist in conducting tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing samples, and ensuring accurate record-keeping as per laboratory standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting laboratory tests on construction materials such as cement, concrete, aggregates, soil, and bitumen. Prepare and label samples for testing and analysis. Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. Record test observations and results accurately. Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of test materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory. Assist engineers and technicians in routine testing and reporting activities. Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards. Support calibration and maintenance activities of laboratory equipment. Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables and testing materials.

Requirements ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering. 0–1 year of experience in a construction materials testing laboratory (freshers can also apply). Basic knowledge of civil engineering materials and testing procedures. Good observation, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
